Your final shopping checklist for cssbuy spreadsheet
This is the last page of the series and the one to bookmark. It folds the earlier guides into one routine you can run every time: choose, size, budget, deliver, offer, and only then continue to the store. Each step points back to the guide that explains it.
Step 1: choose with a job in mind
Write what the item is for: a commute, a campus week, a weekend trip. Pick the shelf from the twelve categories using the category map, and keep to three candidates per shelf.
Step 2: size from measurements
Compare centimetres, not labels. For clothing and shoes, use the methods in the clothing guide and the sneaker sizing guide. If a listing gives no measurements, mark it "ask first".
Step 3: verify the listing
Re-read each live listing on the day. Use the verification guide to check size, material, photos, availability, after-sales and delivery notes. Anything unanswered becomes a question for the source.
Step 4: cost it in AUD
Fill the four columns from the budget guide: item, domestic leg, international freight, possible extras. Keep a buffer. We never convert or quote, so every figure should be read from a live page.
Step 5: check delivery
Follow the order in the shipping checklist, and remember that weight and volume both matter. No route, clearance outcome or date is guaranteed.
Step 6: check offers last
Run any offer through the six checks in the coupon guide. Treat savings as a bonus that only counts once the checkout total changes.
One table to rule them all
| Step | Question | Done when |
|---|---|---|
| Choose | Does it fit the job? | Use and shelf are written |
| Size | Do numbers match what I own? | Measurements compared |
| Verify | Is the live page consistent with my notes? | Date checked recorded |
| Cost | Is the total within my AUD ceiling? | Four columns filled |
| Deliver | Are options and limits read? | Live notes recorded |
| Offer | Do the conditions apply? | Checkout total confirmed |
The final pass
Before you continue
- Every item has a use, a shelf and a measurement.
- Every listing has been re-read on the day.
- The AUD total is within the ceiling, with a buffer.
- Delivery options and limits have been read.
- Offer conditions have been checked, not assumed.
- Open questions have been sent to the source.
